Andrea Casiraghi Celebrity

Name : Andrea Casiraghi
Born: 8 June 1984
Birthplace: Monte Carlo, Monaco
Best known as: The eldest child of Monaco's Princess Caroline

Born on June 8, 1984 in Monte Carlo, Andrea, along with younger siblings Charlotte and Pierre, grew up in his family's country estate in Saint Remy de Provence, far from the glamour of Monaco where his grandfather reigned. Highly regarded for his skills as a skier, rider, footballer and long distance runner while at secondary school in Paris, he speaks French and English as well as some German and Italian.

Prince Andrea Casiraghi is the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and the nephew of the ruler of Monaco, Prince Albert. Andrea Casiraghi is also the grandson of the rather legendary Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Andrea's father was Caroline's second husband, the Italian industrialist Stefano Casiraghi, who died in a speed-boating accident in 1990, when Andrea was six years old. As a teenager, Andrea's good looks and royal lineage made him a favorite with the press, somewhat along the same lines as Prince William of Britain. Casiraghi's image as a teen pinup was helped along when People magazine named him one of its "50 Most Beautiful People" in 1999. He attended McGill University in Montreal before switching to the American University of Paris, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006. He then earned a master's degree in International Relations from The New School in New York City in 2009. With the death of Rainier in 2005, Prince Albert became ruler of Monaco and Andrea became second in line to the throne, after Princess Caroline.

Andrea Casiraghi has a sister, Charlotte (b. 1986), and a brother, Pierre (b. 1987); his half-sister, Alexandra, was born in 1999 to Caroline and her new husband Prince Ernst of Hanover... His late grandmother, Princess Grace, was also known as the actress Grace Kelly... His aunt, Princess Stephanie, is also a favorite of press photographers... For many years, royal succession in Monaco was allowed only through male children of the ruler. But Monaco's constitution was changed in 2002 so that if Albert dies without children, the throne will pass to Caroline and then on to her children with Casiraghi.
