Amanda Setton (born December 16, 1985) is an American television and film actress.
Amanda Setton is a rising TV and film star. She is a New York native and attended Ithaca College there where she majored in drama, but really developed her passion for acting after taking part in the Actor's Workshop of Ithaca where she learned the Meisner technique. After participating in many student run productions, she graduated and found an agent. She has had small parts in movies, but was casts as Penelope in Gossip Girl and is now a recurring character.
Setton played Penelope Shafai in the teen drama Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2009. She began playing Kimberly Andrews on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live on August 14, 2009. Setton has also had small roles in the 2008 films Sex and the City and What Happens in Vegas. It was announced on February 21, 2010 on the website www.daytimeconfidential.com that Setton had taped her last episode as Kim on "One Life to Live" despite being offered a contract and pay increase from the daytime series. Setton is reportedly moving to Los Angeles where she will audition for pilot season. It is unclear whetherOne Life to Live will be recasting the role of Kimberly Andrews at a later date. Setton returned to Gossip Girl in 2010. It was announced on June 22, 2011 that Setton would be returning to "One Life to Live" as Kimberly Andrews on August 22, 2011.
