In September 2006, Rae scooped two awards at the UK's MOBO Awards: "Best UK Newcomer" and "Best UK Female".

Coleen McLoughlin Biography

Name: Coleen McLoughlin
Born: 3/04/1986 (Age: 25)
From: Liverpool, UK
Famous for: She's a 'real woman', apparently
Relationship status: Married

Born in Liverpool, Coleen didn't manage to finish her A-Levels because she got a tiny part in 'Hollyoaks'. She'd been dating Wayne Rooney, that famous Man Utd player, for a while until he proposed to her, on a petrol station forecourt, in 2003. Now that's love.

At 16 Coleen revealed to her school yearbook that she planned on being "famous and living a life of luxury" in ten years time. While childhood pal Jenny Mulhaney revealed her chum was "always outgoing and you could see she was destined for stardom", even the determined teen is unlikely to have imagined the extent to which that dream would come true.

In October 2003, fresh from his England debut, her 17-year-old beau proposed to her on a garage forecourt. She accepted, leaving school later that year and going on to land a small role in the Merseyside soap Hollyoaks. Soon the pair, who plan to tie the knot in summer 2008, were established in a millionaire-style mansion in nearby Formby.

Wayne's new-found fame as football's wonder kid brought him instant wealth which he had no hesitation in spending on gifts for his girlfriend. Able to indulge her passion for fashion, Coleen quickly became known for her taste in Juicy Couture tracksuits and Pucci kaftans. Her penchant for designer labels led to some less than favourable commentary in the press, but she soon had critics eating their words.

Coco Rocha Biography

Name : Coco Rocha
Date of Birth : 10 September 1988, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Height : 5' 10" (1.78 m)
Category : Model

Born and raised in British Columbia, Coco Rocha’s early days were devoted primarily to the pursuit of a dancing career. She discovered early on that she possessed a real gift for fast and fancy footwork, and eventually wound up specializing in the physically intensive and notoriously complicated Irish style of dance. Coco was just 14 years old when an agent spotted her at a dance competition; she was subsequently invited to model for him and the up-and-coming beauty was soon rubbing shoulders with the superstars of the fashion world.

In 2002, agent Charles Stuart approached Rocha at an Irish dance competition and asked her if she would consider modelling for him. At that point, she had never thought of modelling before. When she did begin to model, her knowledge of fashion was limited. She eventually gained insight into the fashion world after her best friends crammed in fashion study sessions in between studying for exams.
Rocha started her professional career in 2004, signing with SUPREME in New York City. Two years later, Rocha met fashion photographer Steven Meisel. Soon, she was featured in an editorial with Gemma Ward and Amanda Moore. The editorial kickstarted her career, landing her the cover of the February 2006 issue of Vogue Italia. The week after, she walked the Spring/Summer 2006 New York City runways for a handful of designers, most notably Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs. Backstage at the Anna Sui show, Rocha met model Naomi Campbell, who held her hands and told her she was "her new favourite model". After the New York Fashion Week, she soon followed by taking part in the Paris Fashion Week as well. She walked for esteemed designers like Stella McCartney, Shiatzy Chen, Christian Lacroix, and Emanuel Ungaro, and was chosen by Marc Jacobs to open and close his Louis Vuitton show.

The 2008 face of Chanel loves spending her free time with family and working with charities such as the Children’s Aid Society, where she teaches Irish dance—something she promises never to give up. We hope the same can be said of her modeling career.

CoCo Biography

Name : COCO CHANEL BIOGRAPHY
Nationality : American
Occupation : Actress

A surprise visitor tapped the door of I Blame Coco’s North London rehearsal room at the end of 2009. As Coco Sumner – the Coco you are blaming – was losing herself in the afternoon run-up to an esteemed charity gig at The Union Chapel with Arctic Monkeys and Richard Hawley, the simian silhouette of Ian Brown loped into view, nodding approvingly in the corner of the room. ‘And he told me,’ says Coco, in a rare moment of self-congratulation, ‘that my lyrics were mega.

Several years passed at school before the young girl would try to make a start. At first she began as a shopkeeper specializing in linens and small wares. Later she would try to sing and dance, with an idea to make a career in the theatre. These attempts would not bring her any luck, with an exception to the nickname Coco acquired at that time. The nickname "Coco" had been given to her by her audience for her songs "Ko Ko Ri Ko" and "Qui qu’a vu Coco".

At the age of twenty-two Coco Chanel met Etienne Balsan, a gentlemen horse breeder and riding enthusiast, and accepted his proposal to live together. She would enjoy her life in a castle, even though she would never get used to her position of an official mistress. What did she really want? To make a career for herself as a modiste – a milliner.

Coco Chanel would soon meet another person who would find a merit in her idea and would help her change her life completely. This was an Englishman Arthur Capel, known to his friends as "Boy". She could have never before imagined herself together with a man who was so enterprising, athletic and, despite his youth, already an important businessman. He helped Chanel to open her first milliner shop in Paris in 1910, and later in 1913 her boutique in Deauville, France.

Claudia Schiffer Biography

Name : Claudia Schiffer
Date of Birth : 25 August 1970, Rheinberg, Germany
Height : 5' 11" (1.80 m)
Occupation : Fashion Model

Born on August 25, 1970, the model grew up in Rheinberg, one of four children in a well-to-do family. She was just 17, when, in a Dusseldorf disco, she was approached by a representative for the Metropolitan modelling agency. And six months later – after graduating from high school – the statuesque 5ft 11in blonde who had always considered herself too tall and too thin, made her first appearance on the cover of Elle magazine. High profile jobs with Guess? Jeans and Chanel followed, with a series of long-term contracts with Revlon helping make her one of the highest-paid models in the world. Known for her business savvy and language skills, Claudia did not initially find her consistent success in the modelling industry mirrored in her personal life.

Originally eager to follow in her father's footsteps by becoming a lawyer, Schiffer warmed to modeling after being discovered in a nightclub in 1987. With her 5'11" frame and striking angular countenance, Schiffer was a natural, first gracing the cover of Elle magazine, then in 1989, landing the coveted spot as the centerpiece of the Guess? jeans advertising campaign. The sultry black-and-white ads turned her into a familiar face, and paved the way for over 500 magazine covers throughout her career. Schiffer made her first appearance on celluloid in Richie Rich (1994), as an aerobics instructor. The role apparently encouraged some real-world pursuits, as she would release a line of workout videos the following year. Also in 1994, she was a natural to cameo in Robert Altman's fashion industry send-up Ready to Wear, the first of Schiffer's many film appearances as herself, including Ben Stiller's Zoolander (2001).

Schiffer has also been the face of Spanish clothes store, Mango and Accessorize, where she had her ears pierced especially for her Autumn/Winter 2006 Accessorize advertising campaign in 2006. Schiffer still holds a contract with L'Oréal and Ebel watches, and her billboard picture for Kenar has also hung over millions of tourists at Times Square. Since 1990, she has created a swimsuit calendar each year which she stars in and designs herself.
