Martine was born on the 14th of May 1976 in Hackney, East London. She has a little brother called L.J. She studied at the renowned Italia Conti stage school in London from the age of 10. She appeared in several billboard ads as a child, then won a part in the BBC children's series Bluebirds in '89, after which further TV and theatre roles followed. At 15 she was picked to front the all-girl band 'Milan', who went on tour with East 17, but they disbanded in April '94. But Martine's big break came in January '95 with the part of Tiffany Raymond in 'Eastenders'. During her 4 years on the soap, 'Tiff' married 'Grant', had a daughter, and found a place in the nation's heart. But she went on to pursue a singing career.

In 1999, McCutcheon debuted as a solo pop artist with Virgin Records and scored a number 1 in the UK Singles Chart with the ballad "Perfect Moment" (originally recorded by Edyta Górniak in 1997). In 2000 McCutcheon released her second album Wishing, which was less successful, charting at number 25 in the UK Albums Chart. The album spawned two singles - the number 2 hit "I'm Over You" and her follow up song "On The Radio". Despite only peaking at #25 the album still managed to sell around 250,000 copies. McCutcheon released her third album Musicality, a Broadway influenced cover album, in 2002. It reached number 55 in the albums charts, however her pop career stalled when due to poor sales her recording contract was cancelled.

In December 2011 on Irelands "The Saturday Night Show" Martine confirmed she was in the studio working on a new album due for release sometime in 2012.

Marisa Tomei Biography

Name : Marisa Tomei
Date of Birth : 4 December 1964, Brooklyn, New York City
Height : 5' 4½" (1.64 m)
Occupation : Actress

Marisa Tomei was born on December 4, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York to mother Patricia "Addie" Tomei, an English teacher, and father Gary Tomei, a lawyer. Marisa also has a brother, actor Adam Tomei. As a child, Marisa's mother frequently corrected her speech so as to eliminate her heavy Brooklyn accent. As a teen, Marisa attended Edward R. Murrow High School and graduated in the class of 1982.

The Oscars of 2002 were immediately noted for the nomination of several black actors and actresses - far more than has been the norm. But there was another comment worth making; that, aside from perennials like Judi Dench and Maggie Smith, another series of great and usually unheralded character actors made the list. Step up Jim Broadbent, Tom Wilkinson and Marisa Tomei. Now, it's true that Tomei had already triumphed at the Academy Awards, for My Cousin Vinny, but all of her other performances - many of them scintillating - had gone wholly unnoticed. The plaudits given to her efforts in In The Bedroom were more than well-deserved. She'd been shining for over a decade, and would continue to do so, being nominated for the third time in 2009 for The Wrestler.
