She began modeling at age 13, and moved to New York at 14. She has appeared in ad campaigns for Armani, Issey Miyake, Polo Jeans, Chanel, Calvin Klein and Yves St. Laurent, among others. Before she became a model, she was an award-winning horseback rider in Canada.

Even with horses, chess and academia to keep her busy, Noot Seear still found time to shop, and during one memorable Vancouver shopping spree in 1996, she was cornered by Selena Wallace, a model-turned-talent agent. Their meeting was enough to convince the teenage Noot Seear to try the modeling industry on for size and by 1997, she had moved to New York City with her trusty chess set along for the ride.

Noot Seear is a fashion model from Vancouver, British Columbia who became more well known when she was cast as Heidi in the 2009 sequel to the movie Twilight. She began modelling when she was just into her teens and moved to New York in 1997 to further her career. By the end of the 1990s she'd modelled for big-name designers such as Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Vera Wang. When she's not on the runway she's posing for magazine covers and working with RoseCharities, a not-for-profit organization that provides relief for children in poor countries.
