Born in Poland and raised from the age of 5 in Chicago (aka, the Warsaw of America), Krupa has the market cornered on failed men’s television shows of the early 2000s, appearing as both a Juggy Dancer on The Man Show and a spokesmodel on The X Show. She has also had smallish parts as The Hot Female Character in shows like Las Vegas, Son of the Beach (Jaime Bergman) and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Jorja Fox, Liz Vassey). Off the screen, Joanna has heated up the pages of dozens of magazines, most memorably the July 2005 issue of Playboy, ref which, after incredibly extensive research, named her the Sexiest Swimsuit Model in the World (we can’t argue with their decision). Joanna was recently Miss Howard(Stern) TV.
Krupa was featured on the television show Superstars in June 2009. She and her partner Terrell Owens were eliminated on the first episode. However, because of another team's injury and disqualification, she and her partner were asked to step in and continue competing and did well in their comeback episode.
Krupa, who took ballet lessons as a child, competed in season 9 of Dancing with the Stars with one-time champion Derek Hough. They were eliminated on November 17, 2009. She is featured on Manon's new dance music single "I'll Be Around" released November 19, 2009 on Dauman Music.
