Candice Accola (born May 13, 1987) is an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries. In her early teens, Accola found a talent agent in San Francisco. Then, in the middle of her junior year at Lake Highland Preparatory School, she moved to Los Angeles. Six months later, she had a deal for a CD titled It’s Always the Innocent Ones. She finished high school through correspondence and graduated with her class in 2005. Accola appeared in her first movie, Pirate Camp, in 2007. Accola has guest starred on popular TV series How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural and Greek. She has also appeared in films such as On the Doll, Juno, Deadgirl and X’s & O’s.

Candice Accola is a newcomber to the movie industry, and starred in her first movie in the year of 2007. The movie was called Pirate Camp and it was a huge sucess for Candice, as she scored two more roles. The first was a guest appearance in the hit tv show “How I Met Your Mother” (2007) and the other was a small appearance in the award winning movie Juno (2007). She also starred in two more movies the same year, one called “On the Doll” where she acted against Brittany Snow, and “X’s & O’s”.

But she has really grown into stardom because of her amazing voice. She has been a back-up singer and dancer for Miley Cyrus during her “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour” in 2008. And she has realesed her own album too, featturing songs mostly about her bad break up with an ex boyfriend. The albums is called “It’s Always the Innocent Ones” and was realesed in 2008.
