Brian Green was born on July 15th 1973 in Van Nuys, California to parents Joyce and George L. Green. He has a stepbrother Keith and stepsister Lorelei. Brian's father was a Country & Western artist and used to frequently take him along to gigs and soon got him interested in the world of music. His first full-time television acting job came when he portrayed the role of "Brian Cunningham" on "Knots Landing" (1979) between 1986 and 1989. He later went on to star as "David Silver" in the long-running teen show "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990). He also appeared in several television movies, such as Her Costly Affair (1996) (TV) and Unwed Father (1997) (TV) and guest-starred on other shows such as "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" (1993) and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" (1996).
Green appeared briefly in the multiple award-winning Showtime drama series Resurrection Blvd. as Luke Bonner, a police officer attending law school in 2001-2002. During the lean years, he made occasional guest spots and directed an independent film. Green's luck changed in 2005 with a tongue-in-cheek cameo as himself in the feature Domino and a gig as Freddie Prinze Jr.'s sex-obsessed sidekick on the sitcom Freddie, although the show only lasted one season. He subsequently had more luck playing Derek Reese on the 2008-09 scf-fi series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and stuck with sci-fi, in 2009, with the role of Metallo on the Smallville series. Back in real life, his on-off six-year relationship with actress Megan Fox kept him in the tabloids until the couple finally wed in 2010.
