Aaron Paul Sturtevant is an American actor. He is best known for his critically acclaimed role as Jesse Pinkman in the hit AMC series Breaking Bad (2008–13).  He is best known for his critically acclaimed role as Jesse Pinkman in the hit AMC series Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2010 and 2012, making him one of five actors to win this award more than once.

Aaron Paul won Emmys in 2010 and 2012 for his portrayal of Jesse Pinkman, the meth-cooking sidekick to Walter White the central character in the series Breaking Bad. Paul grew up in Idaho and moved to Los Angeles when he was 17 to start an acting career. After several commercial spots and small roles on television, he got a semi-regular gig as a straight-laced husband in the cable series Big Love, starting in 2007. While appearing in the occasional episode for that show, he was hired for Breaking Bad, a cable series that first aired in 2008. Paul, slight, wiry and energetic, played Pinkman as an innocent loser-with-a-conscience, earning three Emmy nominations 2009, 2010 and 2012. Paul's other roles include bit parts in the films Mission: Impossible 3 (2006, starring Tom Cruise) and Last House on the Left 2009, and a starring role in Smashed 2012, opposite Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Following his high school graduation, a 17-year-old Paul moved to Los Angeles, California, to do just that, embarking on a near decade-long run of spot television work and commercial gigs. His early jobs ranged from a Corn Pops commercial to a Korn music video.

Aaron worked as an usher at the Universal Studios Movie Theatre in Hollywood in the late 1990s.Attended Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho.
Worked as a frog mascot at a radio station.Has four older siblings.
Has said his first TV love was Fraggle Rock (1983).He was once a contestant on The Price Is Right (1972). Aaron made it to the Showcase Showdown and won a desk.
He is a fan of the band Korn. He even acted in their music video for "Thoughtless".
Vince Gilligan knew he wanted Aaron for the part, but he needed to convince the AMC executives that Aaron was not too attractive for the role of "Jesse Pinkman" before he was cast on the hit show Breaking Bad (2008).
