Brian McFadden Biography

Real name : Brian Nicholas McFadden
Date of birth : April 12. 1980
Place of birth : Artane, Dublin, Ireland
Height : 6' 2¾" (1.90 m)
Occupations : Singer-songwriter

Brian Nicholas McFadden in real life was born on April 20, 1980, at the Rotunda Hospital, in Dublin Ireland. As a growing up child, Bryan had had a problem with his being overweight. Nonetheless, with his tall frame, his issue with his weight and getting bullied has come to an end. He has had so many schools that he attended when he was a growing up child. The first school that he attended was St. Fiachras and was eventually expelled for throwing an elastic band at his teacher.

With the release of his debut solo single, 'Real To Me' and album fast approaching, Brian McFadden is in a relaxed and open mood. One fifth of one of the biggest boy bands in the world, now a solo artist in his own right, at the age of just 24, Brian has all the hard won wisdom of a music veteran, but with none of the cynicism. Having sold 30 million records and picked up twelve UK number 1's with Westlife, Brian’s passion for making music is undiminished and invigorating.

Brian approached the album entirely focused on the music. When Brian talks about the album he speaks with all the fresh and infectious energy of someone making their very first record. For Brian the primary aim was to make the best record possible and find a sound that truly reflects his style, all other factors were secondary. “I just really want to be an artist on my own terms making music that I am really proud of”, says Brian. “Of course I want people to like it and listen to it and hopefully they will. Westlife fans have grown up with us and I think there is space in the new sound for everyone”.

He was married to Kerry Katona, a blonde girl who used to be a member of the British girl band Atomic Kitten, in January 2002 which ended on a divorce in 2006. McFadden had two daughters with her, Molly Marie born in August 2001 and Lilly Sue in February 2003. Back in school, he is always fascinated ins studying Sciences, Math, and English and considered learning Irish his least favorite one. He has always loved the voice of Mariah Carey and Leonardo Di Caprio as his favorite actor. He is a self confessed lover of the scents of D&G and Cool Water.

His big screen debut was a bit part in Jim Sheridan??s The Field in 1990. And while he appeared in several films after that, including the Oscar-winning epic Braveheart, it wasn??t until his scene-stealing performances in 1998??s I Went Down and The General that Hollywood stood up and took notice.

Supporting turns in homegrown productions like "The Field" (1990) and "Into the West" (1992) led to small parts in American features like "Far and Away" (1992) and his big break as right hand man to Mel Gibson's William Wallace in the blockbuster "Braveheart" (1995). Three years later, his turn as Irish criminal Martin Cahill in John Boorman's "The General" (1998) boosted his profile on the international scene, so he was soon dividing his time between major Hollywood projects like "Mission: Impossible II" (1999) and independent efforts like "28 Days Later" (2001). Dependable in just about every field, from children's fantasy - he was Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody in three of the Harry Potter films - to epics like "Gangs of New York" (2002), to even more intimate projects like "Breakfast on Pluto" (2005) and "In Bruges" (2008), Gleeson's versatility elevated him to the pantheon of the character actor's character actor.

Bradley Cooper Biography

NAME: Bradley Cooper
OCCUPATION: Film Actor, Television Actor
BIRTH DATE: January 05, 1975 (Age: 36)
EDUCATION: Georgetown University, Actors Studio Drama School
PLACE OF BIRTH: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Actor. Born on January 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With his rugged good looks and perfect comic timing, Bradley Cooper has become a film star on the rise. Acting was not his first passion, however. He developed a love of cooking at an early age. "I used to have buddies come over after kindergarten and I'd cook them food. I prided myself in taking whatever was in the fridge and turning it into lasagna," he told Entertainment Weekly.

Cooper put his culinary ambitions aside, however, after graduating from Georgetown University in 1997 with an English degree. Instead, Cooper turned his attention to acting. He enrolled in a master's degree program at the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City. While a student there, Cooper landed his first television commercial for a fast-food chain. He then made his TV debut two years later with a guest spot on the popular HBO show Sex and the City.

"The Elephant Man", performed in New York's Circle in the Square. While still in school, Bradley began his professional career, appearing opposite Sarah Jessica Parker in "Sex and the City" (1998) and in the series, "The Beat" (2000).

Handsome and irreverently funny, Bradley Cooper's combination of romantic leading man and hilarious character actor chops helped him progress from TV guest spots to memorable parts in features in a relatively short amount of time. After attracting attention for his likable role as Jennifer Garner's reporter friend on "Alias" (ABC, 2001-06), Cooper fearlessly made his first major big screen impression as the unlikable groom in "Wedding Crashers" (2005). He regained audience's affection in lesser fare like "Failure to Launch" (2006) and, in testament to his charisma, emerged unscathed from Sandra Bullock's notorious bomb "All About Steve" (2008). Cooper ensured his own launch with the lead in the critical and box office juggernaut "The Hangover" (2009) and proved an invaluable member of the romantic, dramatic ensemble "He's Just Not That Into You" (2009) and "Valentine's Day" (2010) casts. Graduating to full-fledged stardom with a flashy role in "The A-Team" (2010), Cooper continued to rise as a bankable, talented and very much in-demand movie star.

Boy George Biography

NAME: Boy George
OCCUPATION: Singer
BIRTH DATE: June 14, 1961 (Age: 50)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Eltham, England
ALTERNATE NAME(S): George Allan O'Dowd

Born George Alan O'Dowd on June 14, 1961, in Eltham, London, to parents Gerry and Dinah O'Dowd. George grew up in a lively household with his four brothers and one sister. Despite being part of the large working class Irish brood, George claims he had a lonely childhood, referring to himself as the "pink sheep" of the family.

By the 1980s, the New Romantic Movement had emerged in the U.K. Followers of the New Romantic period, influenced heavily by artists such as David Bowie, often dressed in grand caricatures of the 19th century English Romantic period. This included exaggerated upscale hairstyles and fashion statements. Men typically wore androgynous clothing and makeup, such as eyeliner.

After a fall out with Virgin Records in the mid nineties, George’s work was poorly promoted and subsequently failed to alight any kind of praise to establish him as a serious solo musical artist. Culture Club did reform briefly back in 1998 at a Big Rewind tour in America alongside Human League and later the same year managed to secure a top five single in the UK with 'I Just Wanna Be Loved'.

In George’s personal life, his demons have gained ongoing media attention even since his drug problems came to public knowledge back in the eighties. Nearly ten years after his first public drugs expose, George was arrested in Manhattan in 2005 on suspicion of possessing cocaine after it was found it his apartment.

After failing to appear in court the following year, for the same drugs charge, a judge issued a warrant for his arrest. George’s no-show for his initial court date resulted in a $1,000 fine and a spell of community service. In August 2006, George reported for rubbish duty on the streets of New York - making the media’s day with snaps of the usually flamboyant star in combats and trainers with a broom and disposable gloves.

It seems picking up trash in the public eye wasn’t enough to keep George on the right side of the law because in November 2007, he was sent to trial charged for falsely imprisoning a male escort by chaining him to a wall. The alleged incident had taken place at his flat in Hackney earlier in the year and he stood trial later in 2008.

Bono was born Paul Hewson on May 10, 1960, in Dublin, Ireland. His father Bobby, a postal worker, was Catholic, while his mother Iris was Protestant. Young Paul was raised in a spiritual atmosphere, but because he came from a mixed marriage he was never fully welcomed in either the Catholic or Protestant churches. This personal understanding of the religious strife in Ireland -- along with the sudden death of his mother when he was 14 -- were to be major influences on his songwriting in U2's early years.

Bono has long been involved in a variety of causes outside of U2. His work as an activist, due largely to his Christian beliefs, began in earnest when, inspired by Live Aid, he traveled to Ethiopia to work in a feeding camp with his wife Ali and the charity World Vision. Bono also went to Central America in 1985 to see the damage wrought by US-backed operations in Nicaragua and El Salvador, after which he and U2 toured as part of the Amnesty International benefit tour, A Conspiracy of Hope.

U2 began touring almost immediately and released their first album, 'Boy', in 1980. In 1987, they released 'The Joshua Tree', their sixth album and the one that catapulted the band and its outspoken frontman to stardom. Subsequent albums secured U2's reputation for range and innovation, including 1991's industrial-sounding 'Achtung Baby', 1993's funkier-edged 'Zooropa', and techno-influenced 1997's 'Pop.

In March 2009, the band released 'No Line on the Horizon', which reached the top of the American pop charts. It featured such popular songs as 'Get On Your Boots' and 'Magnificent'. To support the album, Bono and the rest of the group have been touring extensively.
Suite101.com recently reported that while the band's manager, Paul McGuinness, was attending the Midem music conference in Cannes, France, he confirmed that U2's 13th studio album would be released in May 2011, although he stopped short of giving an exact release date.

Bonnie started acting and singing at a young age, appearing in all the high school plays at Poly Prep Country Day School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She attended Boston College as a Musical Theater major, and left to move back home to New York to try acting professionally.

Somerville was noticed by a modeling scout while waiting tables. At the age of 22, Bonnie moved to Los Angeles at which point she assembled a band and got an agent. Somerville sang backup on Joshua Radin's first record. Her song "Winding Road" was included on the soundtrack for the film Garden State.

A tall, fresh-faced blonde actress and singer, Bonnie Somerville has worked in film and television, most notably in the miniseries "Shake, Rattle and Roll" (CBS, 1999) and the sitcom "Grosse Pointe" (The WB, 2000-01). Early guest work in 1998 episodes of the series "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" (1998) and "Homicide: Life on the Street" (NBC) and a 1999 turn on Fox's "Beverly Hills, 90210" launched Somerville's career, but it was her turn as fictional 1950s rock and roll singer Lyne Danner in "Shake, Rattle and Roll" that auspiciously paired her acting talents and singing skills. The high-profile TV event made Somerville a familiar face and helped pave the way for work on regular series television. She was cast in the satirical sitcom "Grosse Pointe" in 2000, playing an exceptionally conscientious young actress new to the cast of the prime time teen soap. As Courtney Scott, Somerville showcased not only her comic capabilities, but a hip, lighthearted, self-mocking attitude, playing her show-within-a-show character Laura Johnson to good overdramatic effect. The actress has also branched out into big screen work with roles in the 1999 independent thriller "Sleep Easy, Hutch Rymes" as well as the 2000 releases "Crime + Punishment in Suburbia" and "Bedazzled".

Bobby Brown Profile

NAME: Bobby Brown
OCCUPATION: Singer
BIRTH DATE: February 05, 1969 (Age: 42)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Boston, Massachusetts
ALTERNATE NAME(S): Robert Brown

Robert Brown was born on February 5, 1969, in the hardscrabble Orchard Park projects in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He was the second youngest of eight children born to Herbert Brown, a construction worker, and Carol Brown, an elementary school teacher. Brown endured a very rough childhood marred by poverty and gang violence. Knowing that his parents could not afford to buy him the various things he coveted as a child. At the age of 10, he was shot in the knee when a skirmish broke out between rival gangs at a block party. A year later, Brown got into an altercation with an acquaintance who pulled a knife and slashed his shoulder. The turning point in Brown's childhood came shortly after, when his close friend James Flint was stabbed to death at a party at the age of 11. "When his friend passed, you could see Bobby taking his career, his schooling, his whole life more seriously," Brown's brother Tommy recalled. "As kids, everyone had their dreams, but his loss made him more determined.

Countless other artists expanded on the new jack swing blueprint, with many of Brown's former New Edition colleagues at the forefront: Bell Biv Devoe, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant. Moreover, Don't Be Cruel made L.A. Reid and Babyface into hot commodities, and their sound was all over the airwaves. Just before his new album, Bobby, was released in the summer of 1992, Brown married superstar diva Whitney Houston, who sang the duet "Something in Common" on the new record. Bobby's lead single, "Humpin' Around," was a smash on both the pop and R&B charts, reaching the Top Five on the former. However, Bobby didn't sustain the momentum of Don't Be Cruel; perhaps it didn't stand out from the pack the way Don't Be Cruel had in 1988, or perhaps white audiences were too preoccupied with grunge. Whatever the reason, sales of Bobby topped out at around two million copies, despite several more R&B hits in "Good Enough," "Get Away," and "That's the Way Love Is." In 1993, Georgia police arrested Brown for an overly suggestive stage performance, an incident that would prove to be the first of many legal difficulties for Brown over the next few years.

Brown produced only one album, 1997's Forever, which was preformed poorly commercially, and eventually Brown became more famous as Whitney Houston's abusive husband than as an artist in his own right. Brown and Houston divorced in 2007. Soon after, Brown began dating a woman named Alicia Etheridge. They have been engaged since 2010.

Blu Cantrell Biography

Birth Name : Tiffany Cobb
Date of Birth : 1 October 1976, Providence, Rhode Island, USA
Height : 5' 7" (1.70 m)
Occupations : Singer, songwriter, musician (drums and guitar) and producer

Blu Cantrell (born Tiffany Cobb on March 16, 1976) is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter. As a child, her jazz singer mother frequently brought Blu along to the clubs where she had performed. While idolizing her mother during her upbringing, along with a number of well-known artists such as Aretha Franklin, Prince and Whitney Houston, Blu often used music as a remedy during difficult times. Eventually, this form of inspiration persuaded her to follow in her mother's footsteps as a singer.

As she grew up in Providence, R.I., with her five siblings, Blu Cantrell was toted from one jazz performance to another to watch her mother sing. From that point forward, she knew what she wanted to do, and began auditioning for vocal gigs and displaying her dynamic alto at talent shows. On a visit to Atlanta in 2000, Cantrell played her demo tape for A&R executive Tab and producer C. Stewart (aka Tricky) of RedZone Entertainment. They were so impressed that they immediately provided studio work to the young singer, and she sang backgrounds for artists including Gerald Levert, Faith Evans, Puff Daddy, and Aaron Hall. Meanwhile, Cantrell began recording tracks for what would ultimately become her first full-length album.

In 2003, Cantrell released her second album, Bittersweet, which peaked at #37 on the Billboard 200. The success of 'Bittersweet' was much greater worldwide than in the U.S. due to the number one single 'Breathe' climb to the top of the charts. The song became number one without the support of any major radio syndication and eventually was added to major rotation after it had already become independently worldwide. The record earned Cantrell a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Album and entered the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at number eight. The album produced two hit singles, these being "Breathe" and "Make Me Wanna Scream", the former being a collaboration with Sean Paul. "Breathe" peaked at number one for four weeks in the United Kingdom and broke Madonna's song "Lucky Star" single for most played on radio. It eventually became one of the most successful singles of the year in both Europe, Australia, South Africa, Germany and several other countries worldwide. That same year, Cantrell was to appear in Playboy magazine, but decided against it at the last minute because "I felt it was going to make me more of a sex symbol and I didn't want anything to take away from the fact that I can sing".

Blake Fielder-Civil Biography

Blake Fielder-Civil: born April 17, 1982 somewhere in the UK; Zodiac Sign: Aries. Blake is famous for being Amy Winehouse’s husband (now ex-husband). They did a lot of hard drug together.

Amy Winehouse's ex-husband isn't exactly Mr. Right. Blake Fielder-Civil was a gofer on music video sets when he met the up-and-coming Winehouse in 2003. They broke up in 2006, and his absence was the creative fuel for Amy's second album, Back to Black. Their reunion and subsequent marriage probably wasn't the best thing for either of them. Fielder-Civil was arrested and jailed in 2007 for conspiracy to manipulate a witness in his assault trail.

A true Casanova, Blake Fielder-Civil is the guy who rocks the universe of Amy Winehouse. He also rocks her body, and for once, we're not talking about sex. We're talking about hard drug use. Girl's system has taken an absolutely savage beating over the past couple of years. We're a little surprised she and Blake are still living to be honest.

Winehouse and Civil Fielder get pretty physical together perhaps that explains his violent behavior. Winehouse has admitted she is violent towards Fielder Civil when she has been drinking. In a June 2007 interview with World Entertainment News Network she said: “I’ll beat up Blake when I’m drunk. I don’t think I have ever bruised him, but I do have my way. If he says one thing I don’t like then I’ll chin him.” Wow, perhaps Blake is somewhat suppressed.

He was later convincted on all counts and remained behind bars for more than 11 months before his release in November 2008. He was let out only if he checked straight into a Surrey rehab centre, however.
