Vanessa Anne Hudgens, who was born on Dec. 14, 1988 in Salinas, CA, lived all over the West Coast - from Oregon to Southern California with her parents and younger sister Stella. Hudgens came from a very ethnically diverse background, with her father Greg being of Irish and Native American descent, while her mother Gina was a mix of Filipino, Chinese and Spanish. When she was eight, Hudgens started performing in local theater productions of "Carousel," "The Wizard of Oz" and "Cinderella." After a successful commercial audition, the young actress moved to Los Angeles with her family to pursue a full time acting career. She made her feature film debut with a small role in "Thirteen" (2003) - the brutal look at modern-day teenage lives starring Holly Hunter and Evan Rachel Wood - which was enough to get the ambitious teen's foot in the door.

Vanessa Hudgens is known as an American actress and singer, who is best known for her portrayal of the character Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She also earned vital recognition for her role in the 2009 film Bandslam.

Her acting career begun at the ages of 15, and she briefly attended Orange County High School of the Arts, followed by homeschooling with tutors

Being an actress, Vanessa Hudgens has appeared in many TV programs of the CBS including Still Standing, The Brothers GarcĂa, Drake & Josh, Quintuplets and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody before landing in the R-rated coming-of-age drama Thirteen. She made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel, a pig-tailed, good-girl classmate of Wood’s out-of-control character. She got her first starring role in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds as Tin tin.

Tapped to star as brainy good girl Gabriella Montez in High School Musical, a new, made-for-TV Disney film, Hudgens meets and eventually begins secretly dating costar Zac Efron (right). Efron, also a relative unknown, will soon become a world class teen heartthrob. “We kind of hit it off in the very beginning,” Hudgens tells CBS’s The Early Show in 2007. “He’s not a hard guy to get along with, so it’s fun.”

High School Musical becomes the top rated program in Disney Channel history with 7.7 million viewers in its first United States broadcast. The soundtrack, on which Hudgens sings lead vocals in lots of songs, becomes the top-selling album of 2006. 9 original songs make the Billboard Hot 100, including Hudgens’ “When There Was Me and You.”

Vanessa Hudgens reprised her role as Gabriella Montez in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Her acting in the film made her win favorite movie actress in the Kids Choice Awards 2009.

In October 2010, it was announced that Hudgens will be joining the sequel to the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth alongside Dwayne Johnson and Josh Hutcherson, playing Hutcherson’s love interest. The film is set to release in 2011.

Hudgens’ debut album V was launched on September 26, 2006. Her music album entered the Billboard 200 at number 24, and was later certified Gold.

In August 2007 Hudgens was named the Choice Breakout Singer – Female at the Teen Choice Awards. She won against some famous American Idol contestants namely Katharine McPhee, Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae and Lily Allen.

Vanessa Hudgens released her 2nd album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in U.S.

Since 2007, Vanessa Hudgens became the spokes person for Neutrogena products. Hudgens is the chosen face of Neutrogena appearing both in film and print ads. Ashlee Simpson Biography

Birth Name : Ashley Nicolle Simpson
Nickname : Ash
Height : 5' 4½" (1.64 m)
Born: 3 October 1984
Birthplace: Dallas, Texas
Best Known As: Jessica Simpson's sister and singer of "Pieces of Me"
Education : School of American Ballet
Nationality : American
Profession : actress

Ashlee Simpson was born on October 3, 1984, to Joe Truett and Tina Ann (Drew) Simpson. Ashlee started dancing at the age of 4 and by the time she was 11 enjoyed the status of being the youngest person ever admitted to the prestigious School of American Ballet. By 14, Ashlee was dancing professionally on the road with her older sister, pop singer Jessica Simpson. Ashlee spent 1999-2001 on tour supporting her sibling and garnering her own fan-base.

In 2001 Ashlee began acting, landing small roles in television shows and movies. She appeared on the big screen last year in the film The Hot Chick alongside Rob Schneider. She already has television appearances under her belt, including a guest-starring role on Malcolm In the Middle. She has also appeared alongside her sister on Saved By The Bell, The Donny & Marie Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The View, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and a Disney Christmas show and concert special.

Ashlee's big break came in 2002 when she was cast as Simon Camden's love interest on 7th Heaven. While that role showed that Ashlee could act, it didn't change the fact that what she really wanted to do was sing. Later Ashlee played the character Cecilia on the television show from 2002 until the beginning of her singing career in 2004, at which point she said that she would no longer regularly play the role. Aside from contributing a song to the Freaky Friday soundtrack (which also featured tunes from Lindsay Lohan and Simple Plan), Ashlee didn't have much singing experience - though that didn't stop her from trying to launch a solo career.

In 2003, Geffen Records signed her to a music deal and Ashlee began working on her first album immediately. Because Jessica was having so much success with her show Newlyweds, Ashlee decided to go the reality TV route as well. Her series, called The Ashlee Simpson Show, premiered in June of 2004 on MTV and documented the entire process of making an album - from writing the songs to recording them. Show ran for eight weekly episodes from June 16 until August 4, 2004 and helped to establish recognition for her. When the album (called Autobiography) was finally released on July, 20, 2004, it went straight to number one - a feat that big sister Jessica Simpson has never been able to accomplish.

In October of 2005, Ashlee released her sophomore album I Am Me. Her personal life hit a bump when she broke up with Cabrera, but her career continued to grow. I Am Me, much like her first album, debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. Later that month, Ashlee was invited back to SNL to perform her new guitar-heavy single "Boyfriend," which People's Chuck Arnold described as a "feisty first single … probably the best thing she's ever done."

Now that the second season of The Ashlee Simpson Show was over, Ashlee changed a few things including the color of her hair (she dyed it back to blonde) and her relationship status, as she began dating Braxton Olita, the guitarist in her band. I Am Me proved to be a stronger and more personal album than Autobiography. "Everybody has flaws. Everybody falls on their face. But flaws make you who you are," she explained to Teen People. "You have to go through negative experiences to become a stronger person. I found the strength to pick myself back up and write a new album."

Ashlee Simpson's main appeal comes from her fresh-faced youth and natural exuberance. Refreshingly, she isn't as blatant with her personal life as her sister, Jessica, who made headlines by declaring her premarital virginity with much hoopla. But that doesn't mean Ashlee is timid about sex. One of the songs on Autobiography deals with sexual fantasies. "There's a lot of sarcasm in that song," Ashley explains. "It's something every girl thinks about, so I decided to make a joke about it."

Peaches Geldof Biography

Name: Peaches Geldof
Born: 16/03/1989 (Age: 22)
From: London, UK
Famous for: You know her without knowing why.
Relationship status: Divorced, already

On 5 August 2008, she married Max Drummey, an American musician from the band Chester French, at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. In a statement on 12 August 2008, the couple said they were "delighted to announce their very happy marriage."They also have each other's names tattooed on their hands. The couple announced on 7 February 2009 that their marriage had amicably ended.

In 2009, in the ITV2 documentary Fearne and....Peaches Geldof, Peaches revealed that she was interested in and had begun following Scientology. When questioned about her father's opinion about it, Peaches said, 'My father says anything that makes me feel like a better person and makes me happy is a good thing'.

Geldof wrote a magazine column for the UK edition of Elle Girl, starting with its April 2004 issue and continuing until the magazine folded in October 2005. From age 14-17 she wrote a weekly socio-political column for The Daily Telegraph, and wrote numerous articles for The Guardian. Geldof worked for a time as an advice columnist in ES Magazine, and writes a regular monthly column for Nylon magazine, and also for Cleo Australia.

Geldof wrote and presented her own documentary TV programme, Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind in 2005, which was followed up with Peaches Geldof: Teen America, which aired on Sky One in the UK on 1 March 2006. In 2006, Geldof was placed at number seven in the Tatler's list of Top Ten Fashion Icons for the year, the youngest person on the list. In 2007, readers of FHM voted her the 53rd sexiest woman in the world.

In September 2007 Geldof made her catwalk debut modelling for PPQ at London Fashion Week. She was also announced as the face of the Australian fashion line Dotti.Premiering on 19 October 2008 was Peaches: Disappear Here, a MTV One reality show in which Peaches founds a new youth-orientated magazine.

In 2009 Peaches was signed to a six-figure modeling deal to become the face of the Miss Ultimo collection. Michelle Mone, the head of Ultimo underwear said at the time "Peaches was the perfect choice for this campaign. She's young, edgy with lashings of style". The collection was launched at the Debenhams department store in Oxford Street in May 2009. Peaches was subsequently dropped from the Ultimo brand in March 2010 after nude pictures and allegations of drug use were posted on the Internet and published in the media. Geldof vehemently denied the claims and said, "I am disappointed that Ultimo has decided not to extend my contract based on a wildly exaggerated account of a night in Los Angeles five months ago." Mone said that "as a brand that targets young women, we feel it is impossible for Peaches to continue."

In 2011 Geldof presented a six part series on ITV2 called, OMG with Peaches Geldof, a problem solving chat and guest show with audience participation.

Although she's done some modeling of late, Peaches Geldof has somewhat of an anti-model body and personality. She shuns extreme skinniness in favor of a consistent vegetarian diet that leaves her curvy and -- gasp -- healthy. Not one to shy away from decorating her body, she also has more than 20 tattoos across her skin. Nevertheless, as one of England's most fashion-conscious people, Peaches Geldof seems to know how to pull it off. Because of her popularity, her choice of boyfriends always makes for tabloid headlines. Musicians have dominated her love life with Donny Tourette and Frederick Blood-Royale being two of her paramours. A more amusing anecdote than these relationships was a story involving Peaches Geldof and British musician Pete Doherty at the 2005 installment of Live 8. Allegedly the budding socialite groped the performer, whispered sweet nothings in his ear and sent him onto the stage where he proceeded to bomb his live performance. He blamed it on her, and she denied that it ever happened. The truth (as always) might lie somewhere in between.

Claudia Schiffer Biography

NAME: Claudia Schiffer
OCCUPATION: Film Actress, Television Actress, Model
BIRTH DATE: August 25, 1970 (Age: 41)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Rheinberg, Germany
ZODIAC SIGN: Virgo

Claudia Schiffer was born on August 25, 1970 in Rheinberg, Germany, and raised in Dusseldorf. Originally eager to follow in her father's footsteps by becoming a lawyer, Schiffer warmed to modeling after being discovered in a nightclub in 1987. With her 5'11" frame and striking angular countenance, Schiffer was a natural, first gracing the cover of Elle magazine, then in 1989, landing the coveted spot as the centerpiece of the Guess? jeans advertising campaign. The sultry black-and-white ads turned her into a familiar face, and paved the way for over 500 magazine covers throughout her career.

Schiffer dated magician David Copperfield for about five years from 1994 until 1999. They first met in 1993 at one of Copperfield's stage shows, where he invited her on stage to take part in his 'Flying' illusion, and he then subsequently sawed her in half during a joint appearance on German television. Throughout their relationship, she often joined Copperfield in his stage shows as a "special guest assistant" in a number of illusions, including being levitated, guillotined and sawn in half. Following the end of her relationship with Copperfield, she had a relationship with Tim Jefferies.

Modeling Success

There had been no mistake. Not long after her first runway shows, the lanky blonde was chosen by designer Karl Lagerfeld to be the face of the famous Chanel line. She then starred in a global campaign for Guess jeans, catapulting her to worldwide superstardom. Schiffer would eventually appear on the covers of more than 500 magazines, including Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Rolling Stone, where she became the first model ever to grace the famed music magazine's cover. She walked virtually every major designer runway and became nearly omnipresent in marketing campaigns.

Beneath her angelic looks, Schiffer was - as Karl Lagerfeld said - "all work, very serious, essentially a smooth-running German business machine." Schiffer gave credit to her family for her business sense. "I had a good start because my family was behind me," she said. "Some girls just starting out make the wrong choices because they have to do those things to make money. I was able to say, let's have fun, do things I like to do. And they turned out to be the right things." As a result, she became a key member of the well-paid, universally recognized "supermodel" set of the 1980s and 90s, joining colleagues like Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford in this elite status. For a time, Schiffer was the highest-paid model in the world, commanding fees as high as $50,000 a day and earning millions more through licensing and endorsements.

Later Career

Schiffer also tried her hand at acting, hosting television specials and taking bit parts in movies, with varying degrees of success. Of her turn in the 1999 film Black and White, for example, a rather harsh New York Times reviewer wrote, "In the case of poor Claudia Schiffer, the German supermodel, who plays Dean's lover, the movie stops to applaud her efforts to wrestle English to the floor and pin it."

In 2010, Schiffer turned 40, an age at which many models have long since been forced to retire. Just months before her 40th birthday, however, Schiffer won the Elle Style Awards trophy for Model of the Year. She has the freedom to be as choosy as she likes with her projects, but isn't ready to retire just yet. "The most important thing is that you take the profession very seriously, because it is a business," Schiffer said of her approach to modeling. "If you really want to make it, you have to give it your all. And well, I work everyday. You work weekends. You work holidays. And you just - that is your passion and that's what you want to do."

Justin Long Biography

Birth Name: Justin Jacob Long
Birth Place: Fairfield, CT
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 06/02/1978, Gemini
Profession: Actor

Justin Long Relationships:
Christian Long - Brother
Damian Long - Brother
R. James Long - Father
Drew Barrymore - Ex-significant Other
Wendy Long - Mother

Before graduating from Vassar College in 2000, Long had already gained a mass of acting experience throughout his school years. Besides being a two-year member of Laughingstock, a sketch comedy group at the school, and taking part in a number of school plays, he extended his theater credits by working on a number of productions outside of school including New York Stage & Film, Westport Theatre Artists Group and Fairfield Summer Theatre.
He made his movie debut in a major studio film, Galaxy Quest (1999). Playing sci-fi geek Brandon who ends up helping the crew save the universe was a big boost for Long's career. Soon after, he landed a regular role on the TV series Ed, playing Warren Cheswick. He stayed with the show for the four year run, but continued to work in films during hiatus from the series.
Next came a part in the summer teen film, Happy Campers (2001) and a starring role in the horror flick, Jeepers Creepers (2001), as well as the sequel, Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003). His appearance in Crossroads (2002), Britney Spears' movie debut, luckily didn't hurt his career despite the movie being lambasted by critics. After playing opposite stars such as Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn in the comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004), he was the romantic lead opposite Lindsay Lohan in Herbie Fully Loaded (2005).

In 2006, Long was partnered with humorist John Hodgman in a series of extremely well-received television ads for Apple computers. The "Get a Mac" campaign followed a basic and very simplistic formula - the casual-looking Long and a suit-and-tie-wearing Hodgman would introduce themselves as a Mac and a PC, respectively, after which Hodgman would attempt - and fail - to convince viewers that his allegedly limited capacity could not only equal but best Long. The seemingly improvised spots gave millions of viewers their introduction to Long's comic abilities; however, unlike many television pitchmen, the commercials did not appear to hamper his feature career in the least. If anything, they boosted his profile considerably in 2007, which saw him co-starring with Bruce Willis and finding a place in Judd Apatow's cabal of comedy players.

The blockbuster "Live Free or Die Hard" (2007) cast him again as a computer jockey, though this time with the skills to aid Willis' indestructible cop John McClain in stopping a terrorist plot to shut down the United States' communication systems. Long also lent his voice to lead chipmunk Alvin in the live-action film version of the long-running cartoon series "Alvin and the Chipmunks" (2007) before giving an amusing impersonation of "Sgt. Pepper"-era George Harrison in the Apatow-produced biopic parody "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (2007). The year 2008 saw Long firmly in comedy mode, with appearances in features ranging from the critically reviled "Strange Wilderness" to Kevin Smith's comedy hit "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," where he broke amusingly from type as a gay adult film star who helps inspire Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks to pursue their own fortune in pornography.

The year 2009 was one of Long's busiest to date, with roles in films by the likes of Sam Raimi ("Drag Me to Hell"), Miguel Arteta ("Youth in Revolt") and Cheryl Hines ("Serious Moonlight"), as well as "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel" on deck. The most high-profile of these, however, was "He's Just Not That Into You," Ken Kwapis' ensemble comedy based on the best-selling book by Greg Behrendt. Though Long had a supporting role as a savvy bartender who aids the lovelorn Ginnifer Goodwin - his one-time "Ed" co-star - he gained front page status for his brief 2008 off-screen romance with the film's star and co-producer, Drew Barrymore.

Emma Watson Biography

Birth Name: Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson
Birth Place: Paris, France
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 04/15/1990, Aries
Height : 5' 6" (1.68 m)
Profession: Actress

Education:
The Dragon School, 2003
Headington School, 2007
Brown University, Providence , Rhode Island, 2009

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born to Jacqueline and Chris at 6.00pm on 15th April, 1990 in Paris, France. Jacqueline and Chris both work as lawyers. Emma, her parents and her brother Alex (three years Emma’s junior) moved back to England when Emma was five years old. Emma grew up in Oxfordshire but now lives in London during her university holidays.

In 2000 when she was ten, Emma began filming for the first time with 11 year old Daniel Radcliffe and 12 year old Rupert Grint. She was extremely nervous! But, she had no reason to fear as, on its opening day, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone broke records all over the world and Emma won great critical acclaim for her performance as Hermione Granger.

From the age of six, Emma knew that she wanted to be an actress and, for a number of years, she trained at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing, dancing and acting. By the age of ten, she had performed and taken the lead in various Stagecoach productions and school plays, including "Arthur: The Young Years" and "The Happy Prince". In 1999, casting began for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001), the film adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Casting agents found Emma through her Oxford theatre teacher, and the producers of the film were impressed by her confidence and her natural acting abilities. After eight consistent auditions, producer David Heyman told Emma and fellow applicants, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, that they had been cast for the roles of the three leads, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. It has even been said that Rowling had Emma as her first choice for Hermione Granger since her first screen test.

The fifth adaptation of the Potter franchise, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (2007) was another mega-hit, setting an opening weekend gross of almost $333 million worldwide. Watson's star kept shining brighter - in the same year, she and fellow wizards Radcliffe and Grint left imprints of their hands, feet and wands in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. In spite of the financial success of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," all three teen stars expressed hesitation in continuing their roles for the final two adaptations. The media speculated that she played hard-to-get in an attempt to increase her paycheck, rumored to be in the $4 million-a picture-range. Watson quickly explained that she hesitated because signing on for two more films represented another four-year commitment on her part. She eventually signed for the role after conceding that she loved Hermione's character so much that she couldn't bear someone else playing it.

Like many child superstars, Watson grew up on the film set and under the scrutinizing glare of the media spotlight. But unlike many of her contemporaries who became infamous for partying, drinking, and drug use, Watson managed to keep her life balanced and private. She credited strong family ties for keeping her grounded, as well as the support she received from her co-stars Radcliffe and Grint, both of whom she said had grown to be like her siblings. More notably, she shared a love of learning with her on-screen alter ego. She was a serious student, maintaining top grades while filming the Potter series. In the fall of 2009, Watson headed off to study at Columbia University in New York City

She is of course now studying for a Liberal Arts degree in Ivy League Brown University in the United States and she is about to complete her first year which she describes as “the most fantastic experience”. Emma has fully immersed herself in all aspects of university life and in March of this year she appeared in the role of Irina in the University production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters.

Emma has also worked closely with organic and fair trade pioneer People Tree, helping founder Safia Minney develop a teenage range for Spring/Summer 2010. As well as promoting fair trade and organic fashion, Emma has been heavily involved in the design and look of the company’s Spring/Summer range 2010 and is credited as Creative Adviser. Her relationship with People Tree continues as she collaborates with the company on their Spring/Summer collection for 2011.

Snooki Biography

Birth Name: Nicole Polizzi
Nickname : Snickers, Snooks
Height : 4' 9" (1.45 m)
Birth Place: Santiago, Chile
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 11/23/1988, Sagittarius
Profession: Reality show cast member

Nicole Polizzi was born in Santiago, Chile. Polizzi is of Chilean descent (including Italian Chilean ancestry), and was adopted when she was six months old and was raised by Italian American parents. Polizzi earned her nickname, Snooki, in middle school when her friends named her after “Snooky”, a character in Save the Last Dance because she was the first of her friends to kiss a boy.

Polizzi grew up and attended school in Marlboro, New York, where she was a cheerleader. During high school, Polizzi suffered from an eating disorder, at one point weighing a mere 80 lbs. The 4’9″ Polizzi attributes maintaining her position as a cheerleader partly led to her disorder. Polizzi attended community college after graduating from Marlboro High School, where she studied to become a veterinarian.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is a reality TV star on MTV's Jersey Shore who likes to live hard, play hard and party harder. A short, busty human firecracker who could simultaneously mud-wrestle Paris Hilton and Heidi Montag and emerge victorious, Nicole Polizzi has gained substantial fame in the MTV crowd and on the guido circuit for her television exploits -- her crowning moment: getting punched in the face. The aliens observing our daily activities might be perplexed about her fame, but it's curiosities like this that keep them (and reality TV devotees) coming back for more.

MTV first introduced Polizzi in Is She Really Going Out with Him?, a show that focused on women dating obnoxious or arrogant men. Polizzi and her beau, Justin, appeared in the Episode 14, “Jerz Pud”.
Polizzi became part of the reality TV series Jersey Shore after responding to a Facebook advertisement she saw about auditioning. The New York Times identified her as “the breakout member of the cast”. According to the New York Times, her actions on the show have caused her to be the target of public disdain while having a “strange appeal”. One measure of her appeal was that it was reported in 2010 that she was one of the most popular Halloween costumes for the year.
Polizzi’s popularity on the first season of the Jersey Shore, which earned her $5,000 per episode, now earns her $30,000 per episode. While shooting in Seaside Heights, a drunk man in a bar punched Polizzi in the face. The hit was deleted from future showings of the episode. Videos of the punch went viral on Youtube and were featured in many news media. After the punch was made public, Polizzi’s appearance fees increased from $2,000 per event to $10,000 per event.
Polizzi presented an award at 2010 CMT Music Awards. On July 27, 2010, the cast of Jersey Shore appeared at the New York Stock Exchange and Polizzi rang the opening bell. Polizzi and the cast of Jersey Shore appeared at the 2010 MTV VMAs on September 12, 2010. Polizzi also appeared on TLC’s Cake Boss episode “Snookie, Super Anthony & a Ship” on November 8, 2010, in which she orders a cake for her mom.
She was subsequently parodied in the South Park episode “It’s a Jersey Thing”, and is frequently caricatured on “Saturday Night Live” by actor Bobby Moynihan.
On September 30, 2010 it was announced that Polizzi would be writing a book entitled A Shore Thing. It will be released January 2011 and will describe her search for love on the boardwalk.
On November 7, 2010, Polizzi appeared at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid, Spain.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Biography

Birth Name: Rosie Alice Huntington Whiteley
Birth Place: Plymouth, Devon, England
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 04/18/1987, Aries
Profession: Actor; model

She was born on April 18, 1987 in Plymouth to Fiona, a fitness instructor, and Charles Huntington-Whiteley, a chartered surveyor and has two younger siblings, Toby and Florence.
Her great-great-grandfather was politician Sir Herbert Huntington-Whiteley, 1st Baronet, and her great-grandmother was descended from Polish Jewish immigrants of the 1870s.

In 2003, while studying at Tavistock College, Rosie was discovered by Profile Model Management while seeking internships with several London based modelling agencies. Prior to being signed as a model she never considered modelling as a career for which she originally intended to work in the fashion industry “behind the scenes”. After receiving her GCSEs Huntington-Whiteley left school midway through her sixth form where she was voted in her school yearbook “Person Most Likely to become a Supermodel”.

After modelling locally for a year, Huntington-Whiteley made her debut in runway in New York Autumn/Winter of 2004. During this time she made notable appearances in Elle Girl and Teen Vogue. She has since appeared in advertisements for Abercrombie & Fitch, Bloomingdale’s, Clinique, DKNY, French Connection, L.A.M.B., Pepe Jeans,Shiatzy Chen, Ralph Lauren, and Top Shop among others.

Since 2006, Huntington-Whiteley has modelled for American lingerie and beauty products brand Victoria's Secret. The model made her Victoria's Secret debut at the brand's 2006 show in Los Angeles.

She remained unknown in the fashion industry up until 2008, when she was cast by chief creative director Christopher Bailey, replacing Agyness Deyn for Burberry's fall/winter campaign with actor Sam Riley. She got her first British Vogue cover, for the November 2008 issue, which saw her pictured alongside Eden Clark and Jourdan Dunn in a feature celebrating British models.Harper's Bazaar's annual "Best Dressed List" placed her 6th on their list for the year 2008. For SS10 her advertising campaigns included Monsoon's first underwear line, Thomas Wylde, Full Circle, and VS Online. In March, she collaborated with VOGUE.COM to share her outfit choices daily for the Today I'm Wearing feature. She appeared on the covers of the May 2010 issues of Harper's Bazaar Russia and GQ UK. She was featured on the cover of LOVE Magazine's September issue, styled as a pinup girl. For FW10 she modelled for Burberry as well as the company's first Beauty line ad; her other advertising campaigns included Loewe, Thomas Wylde, and Leon Max. Fashion photographer Rankin devoted a book entirely to her titled, Ten Times Rosie. Mandy Moore Biography

Birth Name: Amanda Leigh Moore
Birth Place: Nashua, NH
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 04/10/1984, Aries
Profession: Actor; singer

Education:
Lake Brantley High School, Altamonte Springs , Florida
Bishop Moore High School, Orlando , Florida

Amanda Leigh Moore was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on April 10, 1984 to Don (an airline pilot) and Stacy (a former news reporter). After seeing the musical "Oklahoma!", she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in singing. As a child, she performed the National Anthem at several athletic events around her hometown of Orlando, Florida, and became known as the "National Anthem girl".

At the ripe age of 14, while she was recording in a studio in Orlando, a Fed-Ex worker who happened to be passing through heard her and was interested in her talent. He happened to know someone at Sony as well. Moore worked on cutting a demo and shortly thereafter signed a record deal with Sony 550 Music. At 15, her first record "So Real" was released. Her first tour was with the Backstreet Boys.

As her touring and recording schedule demanded more of her time, Moore withdrew from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando and opted for a tutor/correspondence. She has stated that her education is important to her and says that the fact that she wants to go to college motivates her to continue with her schooling.

Achieving platinum sales by 2000, Moore was now a fixture on MTV, guest-hosting the popular daily series "TRL" (MTV, 1998-2008) and starring in MTV specials such as "Mandy's Mountain Makeover" and "Spring Break 2000" that same year. Noting the performer's charm, charisma and screen presence, the cable network offered Moore her own series during the summer of 2000: "The Mandy Moore Show," which resumed in the summer of 2001 as the retitled "Mandy." A star whose work crossed media lines from the beginning, Moore began working as a Neutrogena spokesperson soon after "Candy" was released, and in 2000, the home video "Magic Al and the Mind Factory" surfaced, a children's project she had filmed in 1998. The following year saw the actress make her big screen debut; first, with a small voice role in "Dr. Dolittle 2" (2001), followed by a pivotal supporting role in the Garry Marshall comedy "The Princess Diaries" (2001). As the popular tormentor of unlikely - and unsuspecting - Princess Mia (Anne Hathaway), Moore set aside her sunshiny image to play the archetypical schoolgirl bully. Jumping at the opportunity to work with legends Marshall and star Julie Andrews, Moore enjoyed an overwhelmingly positive reaction to her entry into film from her co-stars, as well as a rather warm reception from the critics. It seemed of all her blonde pop star peers of the new millennium - Aguilera, Spears and Jessica Simpson - only the newly brunette Moore had the chops and the drive to make it as a viable actress.

It was a busy year for Moore, if not particularly a banner one. Following right on the heels of "Because I Said So" was the highly anticipated romantic comedy "License to Wed" (2007), co-starring Robin Williams and John Krasinski. The result, however, was mixed, with the film being largely dismissed by critics and met with ambivalence by audiences. Greeted more warmly by reviewers, but lacking the marketing power to make much of a dent at the multiplex, was the sardonic romantic comedy "Dedication" (2007), directed by Justin Theroux. Neither of these could compare to the star-studded critical and financial catastrophe that was writer-director Richard Kelly's apocalyptic mash-up "Southland Tales" (2007). Despite this stretch of feature film misfires, Moore's musical career provided a bright spot with the release that summer of her first self-written album, Wild Hope. Taking a break from Hollywood, Moore continued to focus on her music for the time being, releasing the thematically more mature album Amanda Leigh in 2009. In 2010, Moore took on a small recurring role on the popular medical melodrama "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004- ). In her next cinematic effort, Moore provided the vocals for the Disney-fied version of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, "Rapunzel" in the animated "Tangled" (2010).

Uma Thurman Biography

NAME: Uma Karuna Thurman
OCCUPATION: Film Actress
BIRTH DATE: April 29, 1970 (Age: 41)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Boston, Massachusetts
ZODIAC SIGN: Taurus

Education:
Amherst Regional Junior High School, Amherst , Massachusetts
Professional Children s School, New York , New York
Northfield Mount Herman School, Northfield , Massachusetts

Actress. Born April 29,1970, in Boston, Massachusetts, Uma Thurman was named for a Hindu deity. She made her film debut in Kiss Daddy Goodnight (1987), a low budget thriller. Her first well-known role was as Venus in Terry Gilliams's The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988). Wearing only hair extensions in her brief performance as the Roman goddess of love, the alluring young actress went on to take a number of sexually charged roles over the next few years.

At age 18, she bared all in Dangerous Liasons (1988), a big-budget period piece starring John Malkovich and Glenn Close, and in 1989 starred in Henry and June, the first film to be released with an NC-17 (No Children Under 17) rating.

After appearing in a number of marginally successful Hollywood movies, she stepped off the beaten track to appear in Pulp Fiction (1994), the second movie by acclaimed independent director Quentin Tarantino. For her nuanced performance as a glamorous underworld moll, she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award.

Thurman resurfaced in 1999 in Woody Allen's widely acclaimed Sweet and Lowdown. The story of a famed jazz guitarist (Sean Penn) whose talent is inversely proportional to his merits as a human being, the film cast Thurman as his worldly, unfaithful wife. The following year, she had starring roles in two lavish period dramas, Merchant-Ivory's The Golden Bowl and Roland Joffé's Vatel. The former, a Henry James adaptation that premiered to great acclaim at the 2000 Cannes Festival, featured Thurman as a commoner caught up in a forbidden love affair with an impoverished prince (Jeremy Northam); the latter, which also premiered at Cannes, cast Thurman as a French noblewoman during the reign of King Louis XIV. Supporting performances in Richard Linklater's Tape and husband Hawke's Chelsea Walls (both 2001) were soon to follow, and though Thurman's performances were solid as ever, the limited release of both films found her gaining minimal exposure. Though Thurman was virtually unrecognizable in her role as a lovelorn Jersey girl in the HBO feature Hysterical Blindness (2002), her bravado performance earned her a Best Actress Golden Globe and the downbeat drama found audiences once again compelled by her marked versatility. Little did audiences know that her next role couldn't be more different.

Thurman may had done action before in such efforts as Batman & Robin and The Avengers, but her role as the vengeful Bride in Quentin Tarantino's eagerly anticipated Kill Bill nevertheless found viewers' jaws planted firmly on the popcorn-littered multiplex floors. With the production initially delayed due to Thurman's pregnancy, the two-time mother quickly shed her excess weight shortly after giving birth to son Roan; after a vigorous training program, the violent revenge epic was back on track. Even though Thurman made no secret of the fact that balancing the difficult tasks of motherhood and superstardom often took their toll on her during the production of Kill Bill, the dedicated actress pulled off the physically demanding role without a hitch. Debuting in October 2003 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, Kill Bill Vol. 1 (the film was split into two halves after being deemed too long by studio Miramax) still managed to split audiences due to its virtually nonstop, extremely graphic violence. With Kill Bill Vol. 2 scheduled to roll into theaters four months later, fans wasted no time in speculating on The Bride's carnage-laden quest to even the score with the titular Bill (David Carradine) after the ruthless killer gunned her down on her wedding day.

Thurman next joined Luke Wilson for "Super Ex Girlfriend" (2006), in which Wilson learns his girlfriend is a superhero and breaks up with her when she gets too controlling and neurotic, prompting her to use her powers to exact revenge by tormenting and embarrassing him. With her career seemingly taking a step backwards, at least in terms of making high-profile projects, Thurman nonetheless remained a steady presence in films. In a rare appearance on television, she had a small role on "The Naked Brothers Band" (Nickelodeon, 2007), a teen mockumenatary about two brothers (Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff) struggling to balance stardom and friendship. Back in the feature world, Thurman played the adult version of a young woman (also portrayed by Evan Rachel Wood) who suffers a traumatic event prior to her high school graduation that gets revealed years later in "The Life Before Her Eyes" (2008). Meanwhile, Thurman was set to return to more prominent fare with "The Accidental Husband" (2009), a romantic comedy in which she played a radio talk show host specializing in repairing people's damaged romantic lives who suddenly faces the revenge of a caller who took her bad advice.

While her career was going from strength to strength, her private life began to flounder. Whilst she was away in Vancouver filming Paycheck, Hawke was snapped enjoying the company of Canadian model Jen Perzow in Montreal, where he was filming Taking Lives. Tabloid rumours abounded that Hawke was feeling insecure about Uma’s relationship with Quentin Tarantino and was deeply worried that she was actually more than just a muse to the famous director. But whatever the cause of the split, Uma and Ethan’s marriage was over. Uma filed for divorce and soon began seeing hotel tycoon Andre Balazs. After appearing in the sequel to Kill Bill, Thurman starred in Be Cool, alongside John Travolta. She then decided to change pace by turning her hand to comedy. Uma starred in the stylish comedy Prime, and also took a fun minor role in the re-make of The Producers. Most recently, Uma has acted for laughs in the long-delayed movie, Accidental Husband, thus proving that she can do funny.

Despite the ups and downs of her private life , Uma’s stunning looks, fabulous grace, undoubted acting ability and sheer hard work have all served to secure her place as one of Hollywood’s leading ladies - a position she’s certain to enjoy for many years to come.

Kyle Howard Biography

Birth Name: Kyle Alan Howard
Birth Place: Loveland, CO
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 04/13/1978, Aries
Profession: Actor, writer

American film and television actor Kyle Howard was born on April 13, 1978. He is originally from Loveland, Colorado. He studied at Truscott Elementary and worked in a dinner theater in his early teens. He spent his summers performing in different plays at the Rialto, appearing in The Sound of Music, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Before he pursued his passion for acting, he worked in a diner and later on as a bus boy in the movie theater. He later found a job at the Reporter Herald, which he took on to earn money to buy a car to drive to Los Angeles.

Forgettable video store fare like "Address Unknown", "The Paper Brigade" and "Robo Warriors" (all 1996) were among Howard's early credits, but guest roles on "Chicago Hope" (CBS, 1996) and "Home Improvement" (ABC, 1997) proved more substantial. In 1998, after playing Ron Silver's son in the HBO-aired thriller "Skeletons" (1997), Howard took a role where he would call Robert Urich dad, playing the son of the ship's captain on the UPN remake series "Love Boat: The Next Wave". While a largely unimpressive series, "Love Boat: The Next Wave" offered Howard weekly exposure, and helped him to win many new fans. When the ship docked permanently in 1999, the young actor hit the big screen in the talking tot misfire "Baby Geniuses", but recovered the following year as one of three boys enrolled in an otherwise all-girls high school in the Fox summer sitcom "The Opposite Sex". While the series was certainly more engaging than much of its competition, it quickly left the airwaves.

That fall, Howard recovered with a regular role on "Grosse Point", a series spoofing the behind-the-scenes and on screen antics of a teen soap opera reminiscent of creator Darren Star's former baby, "Beverly Hills, 90210" (Fox). Here he played Dave May, the stand-in and partner in crime of doltish teen heartthrob Johnny Bishop (Al Santos). A bit racier than his previous offerings, "Grosse Pointe" would introduce Howard to an older, edgier audience. Also in 2000, the actor was featured in the CBS TV-movie "Yesterday's Children", playing a contemporary young man whose mother (Jane Seymour) becomes obsessed by lifelike dreams of a struggling woman in 1930s Ireland.

As an actor, Kyle Howard has attained considerable success in both television and film. He began working on direct-to-video movies like Trigger Happy and Hooked, and was later seen on the film House Arrest in 1996. That year, he was cast in the action adventure movie Robo Warriors, which was followed by a role in the series Chicago Hope. Some of his other earlier appearances were in Home Improvement, Skeletons, and numerous episodes of The Love Boat: The Next Wave. He also starred as Dickie on the family film Baby Geniuses, before working on The Amanda Show. He later got a part on Townies, a horror film. In 2000, he was cast alongside Milo Ventimiglia and Chris Evans in the Fox series Opposite Sex, but the show was canceled after eight episodes. Howard later played a minor role on the series Grosse Pointe, and was a guest star on an episode of Friends. In 2002, he worked with Jack Black and Colin Hanks on the film Orange County. He was next seen on Boston Public, Providence, What I Like About You, The Drew Carey Show, 8 Simple Rules…for Dating My Teenage Daughter and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2006, he joined the cast of the TBS sitcom My Boys as Bobby Newman. Howard was next seen on the sketch comedy movie Extreme Movie in 2008. In 2010, he was cast as Dave on the NBC comedy Perfect Couples.

Cory Monteith Biography

Birth Name: Cory Allan Monteith
Birth Place: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 05/11/1982, Taurus
Profession: Actor

He may play a high school football player with a voice that has girls swooning, but Cory Monteith is actually old enough to attend his 10-year high school reunion! The 28 year old was born May 11, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta, and raised in Victoria, BC. Before he weaved his path to stardom, Cory had a few, shall we say, less than glamorous jobs. He worked as a roofer, a cab driver, a school bus driver and (the ultimate boring job) a Wal-Mart people greeter.

Monteith began his acting career in Vancouver, British Columbia. He played minor roles in Final Destination 3, Whisper and Deck the Halls. He had a recurring role in Kyle XY. He also made guest appearances in such Canadian-filmed television serials as Smallville, Supernatural, Flash Gordon, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1.In 2005 he appeared in Killer Bash about a tormented geek's soul that was taking revenge on his murderer's children by taking over a girl's twin body. The following year he made a brief appearance in Urban Legend: a Bloody Mary. In 2007, he starred in the MTV series Kaya.In 2009, Monteith was cast in the Fox series Glee, playing Finn Hudson, the male lead of the glee club and the quarterback of McKinley High School. For his audition tape, he drummed on Tupperware using pencils. The first time he sang in front of an audience was at his in-person audition, at which he sang "Honesty" by Billy Joel.He and Lea Michele, his Glee co-star, were included in Entertainment Weekly's 2009 "Summer Must List", being named "Summer's Must Songbirds" for their portrayals of Finn and Rachel on Glee, respectively.

With Glee's music racing up the Billboard charts and the show's popularity rising, Monteith and costars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison land the cover of EW. "I keep getting e-mails and phone calls and running into people at parties just telling me the show makes them feel happy," co-creator Brad Falchuck tells the mag. In November, Monteith joins Morrison and costar Mark Salling on PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive list.

After being snapped together at a pre-Grammys party in January, Monteith and country queen Taylor Swift are spotted looking cozy at a Studio City, Calif., bowling alley. But in May, the actor downplays the relationship, telling Ellen DeGeneres, "We're just friends. I don't know where the time is to date these days."

Taylor Swift Biography

NAME: Taylor Swift
OCCUPATION: Singer
BIRTH DATE: December 13, 1989 (Age: 21)
EDUCATION: Hendersonville High School
PLACE OF BIRTH: Wyomissing, Pennsylvania

Singer, songwriter, musician. Born Taylor Alison Swift on December 13, 1989, in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Swift spent her early years on her family's Christmas tree farm. Her grandmother had been a professional opera singer, and Swift soon followed in her footsteps. By the age of 10, Swift was singing at a variety of local events, including fairs and contests. She sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at a Philadelphia 76ers game at the age of 11, and began writing her own songs and learning guitar at 12 years old.

Although her album came out in October 2006, it was 2007, that was really a career year for Taylor Swift. As mentioned above, her album reached the No. 1 spot on the charts, and did so well that her label decided to re-package it with some video content, a few more songs, and release it as a Deluxe Limited Edition. Fans could listen to several new songs, watch all the videos released up until that time, plus watch a movie edited by Taylor herself.

In 2008, Swift was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category, and won the Academy of Country Music's "Female Vocalist of the Year" Award, the American Music Awards "Favorite Female Country Artist" award, and the American Music Association's "Horizon" award. The win stirred controversy when rapper Kanye West leaped to the stage during Swift's speech, took the microphone, and declared that R&B singer Beyoncé should have won Swift's award. The stunned Swift was unable to make her acceptance speech, and West was removed from the show. When Beyoncé accepted her award for "Best Video of the Year" later in the show, she called Swift to the stage to finish her speech. West later apologized to Swift privately, and made a public apology on The Jay Leno Show.Swift kicked off 2010 by contributing two songs to the Valentine's Day soundtrack. She also made a cameo in the film, playing the high-school sweetheart of her real-life boyfriend, Taylor Lautner. Swift then focused her attention on wrapping up her third album, Speak Now, which she'd written entirely on her own throughout the two previous years.

In November 2010, Speak Now sold more than 1 million copies its first week out to debut at No. 1 on both Billboard's country and all-genres albums charts. Swift embarked on a world tour in February 2011 that took her to countries throughout southeastern Asia and western Europe and continued across the United States and Canada. Kristin Cavallari Biography

Birth Name: Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari
Birth Place: Chicago, IL
Date of Birth / Zodiac Sign: 01/14/1987, Capricorn
Profession: Actor; reality-show cast member; TV host

Kristin Cavallari (full name Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari) was born on January 4, 1987 in Denver, Colorado, USA. She is a model and actress famous for her role in the MTV reality TV series "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County".

When her mother divorced her father, her older brother, Mike, moved with their father to Laguna Beach, California, while she moved with her mother to the village of Barrington, Illinois, a suburb an hour northwest of Chicago. After difficulties adjusting to a new life with a stepfather and stepbrother, Cavallari moved to California to live with her father. There, Cavallari was enrolled at Santa Margarita Catholic High School for her sophomore year. After she attended a Driver's Education course through Laguna Beach High School, her father enrolled her in Laguna Beach High School.

After her stint on Laguna Beach, Cavallari headed to Los Angeles and briefly attended the University of Southern California. She signed on the UPN reality television series Get This Party Started, which premiered February 7, 2006. The series was canceled after airing two episodes due to extremely low ratings. She guest starred on one episode of another UPN series, Veronica Mars. She has appeared in numerous television roles such as CSI: NY, Cane and Adventures in Hollyhood. In 2006, she signed on as Crystal in the horror film Fingerprints. She also played a small role in Wristcutters: A Love Story, an independent film, directed by Goran Dukic in 2006.

Kristin Cavallari is exactly the kind of woman that Jacques Heim and Louis Reard had in mind when they invented the bikini. Blessed with a taut tummy, long legs and delicate curves, this 5’4“ beach bunny makes us long for an endless summer.

It’s hardly surprising then that Kristin has been romantically linked to a coterie of stars, including rebounding crooner Nick Lachey, Princes of Malibu star Brody Jenner and quarterback Matt Leinart. "He got my number and called me out of nowhere,” Kristin says of Leinart. “I had no idea who he was. We hung out, and he was a really cool guy, but that was before [he won] the Orange Bowl and the Heisman Trophy. Then he got a big head!"

George Clooney Biography

NAME: George Clooney
OCCUPATION: Activist, Film Actor, Television Actor
BIRTH DATE: May 06, 1961 (Age: 50)
EDUCATION: Northern Kentucky University
PLACE OF BIRTH: Lexington, Kentucky

Actor, director, producer, writer. Born George Timothy Clooney on May 6, 1961, in Lexington, Kentucky. Clooney comes from a well-known family of media and entertainment personalities. His father, Nick, spent many years as a television personality and news anchor. His aunt, Rosemary Clooney, had a long career as a singer and actress.

Due to the nature of his father's work, George Clooney and his older sister Ada moved several times to various locations throughout Kentucky and Ohio with their parents. In 1974, they settled down for good in a rambling, old Victorian home in downtown Augusta, Kentucky, a small town on the Ohio River about an hour south of Cincinnati.

Slowly parts came, even if they weren't the kind of roles he dreamed about. He landed a recurring role on the popular teen comedy The Facts of Life, from 1985 to 1987. From 1988 to 1991, Clooney also made guest appearances on the dysfunctional family sitcom Roseanne. In 1992, he starred in the short-lived series Bodies of Evidence, playing a detective. On the drama Sisters, he played another detective and the love interest for Sela Ward's character. There were small movie roles, too, including the part of a lip-synching transvestite in a 1993 thriller called The Harvest.

In 2002, Clooney had small but memorable role as a crippled crook in "Welcome to Collinwood." Following up, he made his directorial debut with "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," based on the book by Chuck Barris, the former host of "The Gong Show," who claimed he was a CIA hit man. Clooney aped Soderbergh's off-kilter visual style, while at the same time, infusing his own breezy sense of humor, creating a daring first film that garnered many admirers. Clooney then co-starred with Natascha McElhorne in the thriller feature, "Solaris," a sci-fi remake of a 1972 Russian film which reunited the actor again with pal Steven Soderbergh. A metaphorical meditation on life and death co-produced by James Cameron, "Solaris" failed to attract much attention at the box office. Meanwhile, a spotty track record was being formed for Section Eight, a production company formed by Clooney and Soderbergh. Though developing an interesting array of film and television projects - including the surprisingly subdued Washington insider docudrama "K Street" (HBO, 2003-04) - Section Eight failed to generate much profit outside "Ocean's 11." The team rebounded creatively with "Unscripted" (2005), a chronicle of the ups and downs of a trio of actors making their way in Hollywood.

All of his hard work on Syriana did not go unnoticed. In 2005, Clooney won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film. He was also nominated for another important project, Good Night, and Good Luck, that same year. The film examines the clash between distinguished news anchor Edward R. Murrow and Senator Joseph McCarthy. Clooney directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay, which served partly as a tribute to his newsman father. Widely praised, the black-and-white drama helped Clooney earn his first nominations for Best Director and Writing

A turn as a slippery federal agent in The Coen Brothers' dark farce "Burn After Reading" (2008) marked one of the filmmakers' bigger commercial successes, and was well-suited to Clooney's penchant for both political-leaning material and social satire, though the film's dips into slapstick territory were a curious choice for an A-list cast. The prolific actor returned to theaters the following year alongside Jeff Bridges, Ewan McGregor, and Kevin Spacey in "The Men Who Stare At Goats" (2009), a comedy based on a little-known U.S. military program that once trained personnel to develop psychic abilities to be used during combat. In theaters almost simultaneously was Jason Reitman's adaptation of the novel "Up in the Air" (2009), starring Clooney as a traveling executive addicted to his peripatetic lifestyle but faced with the possibility of having to set down both figurative and literal roots. Clooney also voiced the title character of Roald Dahl's "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" (2009) in a stop-motion animated adaptation of the classic tale helmed by Wes Anderson and also starring the voice-over talent of Meryl Streep, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman. Clooney closed out the year with a beautiful new girlfriend, Italian TV presenter, Elisabetta Canalis, on his arm, as well as nominations from the Screen Actors Guild, the Golden Globes, and the Academy for Best Actor for "Up in the Air."

Mary-Kate Olsen Biography

NAME: Mary-Kate Olsen
OCCUPATION: Film Actress, Television Actress
BIRTH DATE: June 13, 1986 (Age: 25)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Sherman Oaks, California
ZODIAC SIGN: Gemini

Actress. Born June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, California. The daughter of mortgage banker David Olsen and manager Jarnie Olsen, Mary-Kate and her twin sister, Ashley, have become among the most popular - and bankable - female personalities in America. They made their acting debut in 1987 at nine months old, sharing the role of the youngest daughter, Michelle Tanner, on the ABC family sitcom Full House. The series ran for eight years, during which the Olsen twins' career took off.

In 2003, Mary-Kate and Ashley began their senior year of high school. It was also their most profitable year to date, with their clothing lines at Wal-Mart and related ventures bringing in $1 billion in sales at cash registers across America. Their official Web site received about two billon hits annually, and a slew of other Web sites were devoted to their stardom. Surprisingly, the twins also found a new group of fans as they grew into young adults: teenaged boys and young men. Even business journalists began to profile the duo and their company, Dualstar, and the fact that long before they had earned their high-school diplomas, each had an estimated net worth of $150 million. Thorne, who ran their company, confirmed reports that both Mary-Kate and Ashley were actively involved in every aspect of their business. They signed off on each item in the clothing line, for example. As Thorne told People 's Michelle Tauber, "It's always two calls" he needed to make for any deal. "And I very rarely get, 'Let my sister handle that.' They're equally voracious to know what the company is up to."

The Olsens have been described as one of just a handful of child stars who managed to maintain their appeal as they grew up. Their access to the media had been strictly controlled, but that began to change after they earned their drivers' licenses and received matching Range Rover sport-utility vehicles for their sixteenth birthdays. The twins also seemed inseparable, and many wondered if they would head to different colleges in the fall of 2004. They both chose New York University, and readied for the school year by purchasing a four-bedroom apartment in the West Village for $3 million. Both noted that they would concentrate on their academic careers for the next few years, putting their other activities on hold.

In 2005, Mary-Kate and her sister purchased the minority shares of Dualstar, taking full control of the company. During this time, Mary-Kate also ended her relationship with Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos III. The break-up, combined with the changes at Dualstar, led Mary-Kate quit school and return to California to focus on business ventures with her company.

In January of 2008, Mary-Kate made headlines when her close friend, actor Heath Ledger, died of a prescription drug overdose. Olsen remains silent on the matter, but sources say Ledger's staff contacted Mary-Kate through a speed-dial function on Ledger's cell phone. Olsen then called her security staff in New York to investigate the matter. Ledger was pronounced dead later that day.

Mary-Kate and Ashley were looking forward to their new college adventures in New York City. Mary-Kate was considering fine arts as possible major, while Ashley was leaning toward studying psychology. There had been fears that their Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores would be leaked to the press, but they had remained sealed. They did reveal to People, however, the topics of their admissions essays. Mary-Kate had explored "a big fear that I have. It was a lyric by Ben Harper that said, 'When you have everything, you have everything to lose.'" Ashley used a work by the late Abstract Expressionist painter Jackson Pollock to discuss her outlook on life for her essay, especially her life in the spotlight for the past eighteen years. The dense color swirls of Pollock's Number 1, she explained to Tauber in the same article, allowed the viewer "to get exactly what you want out of it, and it's kind of like our life has been, being in the public eye. People can judge it whatever way they want."

Katie Price Biography

Birth Name : Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield
Height : 5' 4" (1.63 m)
Born: 22 May 1978
Birthplace: Brighton, Sussex, England
Best Known As: The U.K. tabloid model known as "Jordan"

Price was born in the town of Brighton, located in Sussex, England, on May 22, 1978. She changed her birth surname, Infield, to Price after her father left and her mother remarried. Talented at swimming, gymnastics, and horseback riding, Price opted for modeling after a friend's suggestion led to her being discovered by a modeling agency. It was there that she signed on with the Sun.

Katie Price started her career about 17 years ago, when one of her friends persuaded her to go for a professional photo shoot. To her surprise, she got a contract from the modeling agency. Subsequently, she appeared on Page 3 of the Sun newspaper for the first time. It was during this time that she took up the pseudonym Jordan. Since then, she was regularly featured in celebrity magazines and British tabloid newspapers.

Though she became a well-known model, Katie Price was very insecure about her figure. Although all her close friends and family members did not support her decision, she went for a series of operations for breast enlargement. Due to this decision, she lost the contract with Sun newspaper as the company policy required all their models to be silicone-free.

Katie Price wanted to try her hand at acting. So, in 1998, she auditioned for a role in Baywatch, which turned out to be unsuccessful. In 2002, she appeared in Playboy magazine for the first time. Until then, she had already appeared on the cover of six volumes of the same magazine.

In 2001, she had a brief affair with Dwight Yorke, a footballer who played for Manchester United at that time. The following year, she gave birth to their son, Harvey Daniel, who was born blind due to a condition called septo-optic dysplasia. She was diagnosed with cancer (leiomyosarcoma) in the same year. Katie Price underwent a surgery for treating the same.

In early 2004, she appeared on the reality TV show, "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!". It was during this show that she met her first husband Peter Andre, an Australian-English pop singer. She married him in September 2005, and the same year, they had their first child Junior. In 2007, they have their second child Princess Tiamii. Katie Price marriage to Peter Andre lasted till 2009.

Jordan is now known as one of London's bad girls, as the paparazzi has often captured many of her public antics throughout Europe's nightclub scene. Her life in the public eye has been turbulent. Many relationships have been well-publicized, as well as ailments and complications with pregnancies. A tryst with British singer Dane Bowers led her to have an abortion. Her first child was born blind, having an undeveloped optic nerve, and many blame her drinking habits during the pregnancy. She also had a malignant tumor removed from one of her fingers.

Following in the footsteps of other aspiring British girls determined not to let a lack of talent impede the way to stardom, Katie Price (aka Jordan) rose to fame in 1996 after being featured on the infamous Page 3 in the London-based Sun newspaper. She has since become a staple of British tabloids, only now she makes headlines rather than simply posing next to them. In May of 2009, Katie Price made the tabloids yet again, this time due to her divorce from Peter Andre. Throw in the fact that Andre allegedly filed for divorce due to Price's drinking habit, and we have a feeling Price is going to be a tabloid staple a la Britney Spears post-Kevin Federline for the next while.
