Occupation : Actress
Trista Rehn Sutter was born on October 28, 1972 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She became somewhat of a celebrity when she participated in the modern-day matchmaking reality shows, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Before she went on to meet her one true love through a televised courtship, Rehn was a student of Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Missouri, afterwhich she pursued her tertiary education at Indiana University and the University of Miami, where she obtained a degree in physical therapy. As a resident of Miami, she worked two jobs, one as a physical therapist and the other as a dancer for Miami Heat.
Though she lost that season to winner Amanda Marsh (finishing as the runner-up), she generated such popularity among viewers that ABC created a 2003 spin-off, The Bachelorette, and devoted the first season squarely to her, beginning in January of the said year. Over the course of the following 12 months, Rehn met, fell in love with, and married firefighter Ryan Sutter, and ABC promptly televised the couple's lavish December wedding, to spectacular ratings.
In February 2007, the Sutters told People magazine that they were expecting their first child in summer of 2007. During her seventh month of pregnancy, Trista was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. In July 2007, Maxwell Alston was born four weeks early stemming from pregnancy complications via c-section after a failed induction/stalled labor. Maxwell was first revealed to the public on the cover of Us Weekly magazine and made his first on-camera appearance in a video diary series Trista recorded for Momlogic.com.
