Socialite Paris Hilton was born on February 17, 1981 in New York City into the Hilton family and, along with her three younger siblings, is heir-apparent to the vast Hilton hotel and real estate dynasty. Her childhood was spent in palatial dwellings in the priciest neighborhoods on both coasts and featured a brief flirtation with the educational system, including high schooling at the ultra-exclusive Dwight School, from which she dropped out and ultimately earned her high school GED.

In 2006, Paris was given lead roles in "Bottoms Up" and "Pledge This" by the National Lampoon. She also played the role of the 'Hottie' last year (2008) in the comedy entitled "The Hottie and the Nottie". In September of the same year, Paris had a new TV series called "Paris Hilton's New BFF" wherein she was searching for a new best friend as a replacement for Nicole Richie. Just last January of this year '09, Paris starred in a show in England entitled "Paris Hilton's British Best Friend".

Paris Hilton, in terms of being a recording artist, also had a couple of hits that became successful. She, by the way, founded the label "Heiress Records" in 2004 which was under Warner Bros. Records. In 2006, Paris launched her debut album "Paris" which reached the 6th spot in the Billboard 200 and remained for seven days. The album's lead single "Stars are Blind" was even included in the Top 10 in more than ten countries. Paris recently finished her second album which has not been released yet, but some of its singles: "My BFF" and "Paris for President" have been introduced just last year. As for her love life, Paris Hilton is currently with Doug Reinhardt of "The Hills", with Paris even saying that she does intend to marry him.
