Kitching has modeled for various magazines and clothing lines including Skelanimals. She is best known for her relationship with Brenden Urie of Panic! At the Disco, which is her source of fame.

In a Metromix profile of "Style Why-Cons", she is credited with influencing the fashion industry and altering standards of beauty. A spokesmodel for Jared Gold, she made an appearance on the May 22, 2008 episode of Good Things Utah to show off his designs. Additionally, she was featured in Gold's Czarina runway event. Kitching appeared as herself in 2008's movie version of Forever Plaid. In March 2008, she was chosen to appear in a national Peta2 "Fur Is Dead" campaign. From May 3 to August 31, 2008, Kitching was included among Glenn Kaino's Uberstars exhibit at The Andy Warhol Museum, a 21st century take on Andy Warhol's Superstars.
