Alice Dellal was born in Brazil in 1987 to mother Andrea Dellal and father Guy Dellal -- Andrea was a successful Brazilian model and Guy was the son of property magnate, Jack Dellal. Alice Dellal's upbringing was extravagant but also difficult. Her father was a bodyguard for Mick Jagger's girlfriend, Jerry Hall, but he was also caught up in a drug-smuggling scandal. In addition to that, one of Alice Dellal's aunts died of a drug overdose.

In 2006, she participated in a photo session with photographer Will Whipple. She was also signed up a modeling agency. Her first major modeling gig was landed in the same year with Burberry. Alice Dellal was also signed up by Pussy Glamore's range of lingerie.
