Talulah Riley (Marianne) made her film debut as one of the Bennet sisters in Joe Wright’s award-winning Pride & Prejudice, also for Working Title and Focus Features. Since then, she has become one of the U.K.’s busiest young actresses. In 2005, she starred opposite Jennifer Ehle and Kevin Spacey, in Jerry Zaks’ staging of The Philadelphia Story at The Old Vic; the following year, she reunited with her Pride & Prejudice screen sibling Rosamund Pike in the first-ever U.K. staging of Summer and Smoke, at the Apollo Theatre under Adrian Noble’s direction.
Riley made her stage debut in The Philadelphia Story at the Old Vic in 2005, and appeared in Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke at the Apollo Shaftesbury Avenue, London until 25 November 2006.
In 2010, Riley appeared as a blonde projection in Inception, with Leonardo DiCaprio, written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Also in 2010, The Summer House was released, which starred Riley in the lead role with Robert Pattinson supporting. By the end of the first day of release, it was the number one film on iTunes worldwide and dominated that position for several days. According to their official website, she was recently cast in the film Quentin Lee's White Frog.
