Leigh Lezark was born on July 26, 1984, in Toms River, New Jersey. Her father worked in the fiberglass industry, but as she grew older, Leigh Lezark adopted the artistic inclinations of her mother. As a teenager, she bypassed mainstream trends in favor of creating her own. Making her own clothing was just one of the ways that Leigh Lezark dared to be different.

At the age of 14, Leigh Lezark wanted a break from her New Jersey existence. As a result, she began skipping school to hang out in New York City. She loved the city and became acquainted with the bar scene thanks to some fake ID provided by her French class schoolmate.

There, she met Geordon Nicol and Greg K, with whom she formed DJ trio The Misshapes. As well as supporting popular musical acts from The Killers to Courtney Love, they're favourites on the art and fashion scenes and have collaborated with brands such as Chanel, Calvin Klein and Moet & Chandon. Leigh is a successful model in her own right and, when she's not walking the runway herself, is a regular on the fashion week front rows. Her campaigns to date include Hogan and Roberto Cavalli for H&M.
