Model Jaslene Gonzalez was born on May 29, 1986 in Puerto Rico. She grew up in Chicago and was educated at Notre Dame High School for Girls. Before competing in America's Next Top Model, she worked as an online college admissions advisor and did some modeling work on the side. She was represented by Avant Garde Models at the time, and even appeared in fashion shows.

Jaslene tried out for Cycle 7, but only made it to the semifinals. Assuring the judges that she would be back for the next cycle's audition, making her one of 5 constestants to have made it on the semi-finals twice, with Nargis, Mary, Marvita Washington and Tiffany Richardson. Jaslene's determination caught the eye of Tyra Banks who thought she had potential. Jaslene started off at the top of the pack, getting her photo called first twice in a row. Jaslene became only the second contestant (Joanie Dodds, runner-up of Cycle 6 being the first and Cycle 10 runner-up Anya Kop the third) to never place in the bottom two. However, unlike Joanie and Anya who finished as runner-up, Jaslene won the competition. Overall, she has had 4 first call-outs, 4 CoverGirl of the Week titles and 1 challenge win.

Jaslene Gonzalez has legs that never end and a captivating exotic beauty. Plus, she's admitted, "I'm the Latin spice here. I'm not your girl next door but I'm your girl down the block in your hood." So we know she's also a spicy Latina. No wonder we featured her here on AM!
