Fearne Cotton was born Fearne Marie Cotton on the 3rd of September 1982 in Northwood, London. She was raised in Eastcote, Abbotsbury Gardens and attended the Newnham Primary School and the Ruislip and Haydon School in Eastcote.

In 1998, when she was 16, Frarne landed a presenting stint in The Disney Club program in GMTV in 1998. Diggit soon followed, where she appeared opposite Paule “Des” Ballard. Several children shows followed including Draw Your Own Toons bu CITV and the series Mouse.

Her quirky style and enthusiasm, not to mention her hot blonde looks, made Fearne an instant TV hit. At 29, she’s been presenting for more than a decade, fronting some of the UK's biggest mainstream telly shows including Top of The Pops, The Xtra Factor, Comic Relief and Children in Need.

Her love of music led to her dating LostProphets frontman Ian Watkins and becoming the BBC’s go-to girl for music presenting. The first ever female presenter of the Radio 1 Chart Show, Fearne’s now taken over the mid-afternoon Radio 1 slot and fronts live shows from Glasto and just about every other British music festival, the lucky lady.

In 2006, after her show Top of the Pops ended, Fearne began presenting reality shows. She replaced Rachel Hunter in "Make Me a Supermodel". Apart from this, she also co-presented "Love Island" second season with Patrick Kelly. In 2007, Fearne cotton became the first female to present the BBC Radio 1 Chart Show.

She was back on television that same year with the presentation of the show "Making Your Mind Up" in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, she performed the job of an interview backstage at the BRIT Awards and the Academy Awards. She also interviewed Prince Harry and Prince William in the UK. In 2008, she was offered to host "The Guinness Book of World Records - Live". This was her first show in the Americas.

Fearne’s obsessions include getting tattooed (she’s got 11 so far), raising money for charity, shopping til she drops and breaking up and getting back together with her hip skater boyfriend Jesse Jenkins. Their on-again-off-again relationship led to an engagement on her 29th birthday in 2010. Best pal and fellow TV star Holly Willoughby was all set to help plan the wedding, but sadly it wasn’t to be, and the couple announced their latest split in May 2011.
